Women's Nations League Round 5 - Results

Round 5 of the Women’s Nations League showed that several top teams are hitting form at just the right time, with Euro 2025 now only a month away. The four major contenders — England, France, Spain, and Germany — all delivered convincing wins, proving that things are really starting to fall into place.

In contrast, other teams still have work to do if they want to compete at the highest level.

With the sixth and final round coming up on Tuesday, all eyes will be on the decisive fixtures. Which teams will qualify for the Nations League Finals? Who will face the promotion and relegation play-offs? And who will be relegated directly?

For many teams, this tournament is more than just another international window. It’s a crucial testing ground ahead of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 in July. More importantly, performances in the Nations League will have a direct impact on qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The League A group winners will automatically secure their spot, while a set of play-offs will determine the remaining qualifiers.
