After the intense six rounds of qualifying games for the women’s Euro 2025 in Switzerland, we now now the first guaranteed teams. On Friday 19th of July, the draw was made to determine the first (and second round) of play-off matches. For the first round of the draw, League A teams were matched against League C teams, whereas the six best League B teams were matched against the 6 lower League B teams. For the second round the teams were already drawn against their possible future rivals.
The first round matches will be played from 23-29 October, and will be a two-legged game where the seeded teams play the second game at home. The second round matches will be played from 22 November to 3 December, and will once again be a two-legged game with home advantage for the seeded teams.
