ToggleEuro 2025 - Qualification Round 4 - Results
The fourth round of Euro 2025 qualifiers is done, and we have the first few countries who got a ticket to Switzerland. Spain had a remarkable comeback after being 2-0 down to Denmark, to win 2-3 and get to Switzerland. In Group 4 Germany secured their ticket with a win over neighbours Poland (who once again scored first, just like Friday).
The Lionesses managed to get a first win against France/in France in 51 years. Besides the 1-2 win, it was most definitely the best game England has played since the Euroes. With captain Leah Williamson back in the team, the standard in this game was much higher than the last games, and it might be just the result the Lionesses needed to get themselves back. With games at home to Ireland and away to Sweden, the Lionesses have it all in their own hands, however, it won’t be easy by any means.
