The Manchester United fans had a Saturday to forget as they saw their team once again lose to Chelsea. However, this time it was more the way that they played and the tactics that got some of them absolutely raging. Mark Skinners’ team played straight into Chelsea’s strenghts and conceded two quick goals. A goal back by Ladd could have been the turning point, however the biggest moment in the game was when Leah Galton broke through on the left-side and was seemingly pushed in the back by Ashley Lawrence, however the referee didn’t crumble under pressure and did (quite shockingly) not give Manchester United a penalty. Besides this the ruthlessness in front of goal by Lauren James (Chelsea) was what really made a big difference in this game, a hattrick once more as she took her team under her wing. Special shout-out as well to Erin Cuthbert who absolutely bossed the Manchester United midfield around the pitch.
